I missed International MensDay yesterday. It somehow went under the radar. A bit like how men often bury things rather than talking about them, or don't share a problem with a mate or a partner.
Or sometimes don't get noticed or asked how they're doing by the people around them.

I learned last night that this year's theme is all about positive role models.

In a day and age when there's lot of unsettling news and often toxic imagery too visible in our lives I think this is a great theme.

And can I also ask you spend a moment to take a look at your mate, your colleague, your son, your father, uncle, whoever, and just check in with them. Send them a message, ask how they're doing, let them know you're there for them.

And these things don't need to fly under the radar.
