Football Chat with The Speaker

Was a pleasure to meet Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons, at the weekend. I was watching Ted play school football for Cheadle and Lindsay was watching his grandson ⚽️ play for Bolton Grammar.

Sir Lindsay is one of the elder statesmen of the Labour party and the UK political scene. Great bloke and not too grand to pose for a selfie with me.

Now off to London for a couple of interesting meetings. Been working on something new and keen to get some expert feedback and input. Perhaps have an update for you tomorrow. 👀
